On the afternoon of October 23, the Party Committee of China Air Separation held its regular meeting on Party building for the third quarter of 2024. The meeting summarized and shared experiences from the previous phase of work, laid out key tasks for the next phase, strengthened Party building leadership, and further promoted the deep integration of Party building with production and operations. Comrade Sheng Jianbing, member of the company’s Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, presided over the meeting. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and to promote the spirit of patriotism and the spirit of the times, on October 16, the “Craftsmanship Pursues Dreams—My Contribution to Enterprise Development” PPT Skills Competition, hosted by the company’s trade union and organized by the Party Committee Office (Party Committee Publicity Department), was passionately held. Through competition-driven learning and learning-driven application, the event aims to inspire all employees to embrace a more vigorous fighting spirit and a more pragmatic work ethic, jointly writing a new chapter of high-quality development for the company. Comrade Sheng Jianbing, member of the company’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union, attended the competition and delivered a speech. The competition was moderated by Lu Yijun, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union. A total of 22 contestants from five teams representing various engineering companies and functional departments took part in the competition.

To earnestly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, deepen the findings from research, build consensus, and promote development, on October 15, the Party Committee of China Air Separation held its fifth centralized study session for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group and a symposium for exchanging research findings for 2024. The meeting was chaired by Lou Jiangning, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Board.

On September 29, the lifting operation of the 50,000-cubic-meter cryogenic ethylene full-containment tank in the low-temperature tank area of the Dingxin Storage Project on Xizhong Island, Dalian—undertaken by China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Air Separation”) as general contractor—was successfully completed. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the project and lays a solid foundation for its early commissioning and operation.

On September 23, Li Yonggang, Secretary of the LaiZhou Municipal Party Committee in Shandong Province, and his delegation visited China Air Separation. The visit focused on accelerating the construction of the China (LaiZhou) Bromine Chemical Industry Park and involved an in-depth discussion of the industrial planning for China’s specialty fine chemical industry park. Xu Xianghui, General Manager of the company, Lu Qi, Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Chemical Engineering Company, and other senior executives warmly welcomed Li Yonggang and his delegation. Also attending the meeting were Qiu Zhaoming, Vice Mayor of LaiZhou City; Sun Yongpeng, Director of the LaiZhou Investment Promotion Center; Yin Zhaozhong, Director of the LaiZhou Yinhai Chemical Industry Park Management Service Center; and representatives from relevant departments of the LaiZhou City government.

On September 23, Zhou Mingqin, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Chief Accountant, and Chief Auditor of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), led a team to China Air Separation for an inspection and guidance visit. Wang Weiling, Director of the Group’s Audit Department, and Wang Mowei, Deputy Director (in charge of daily operations) of the Finance Department, accompanied the visit. Lou Jiangning, General Manager of China Pufa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of China Air Separation, chaired the symposium during the visit. Xu Shidong, a member of the Party Committee and CFO of China Pufa, along with members of the leadership team of China Air Separation and senior assistant-level officials, also attended the visit.

On September 20, the first shareholders’ meeting of China Air Separation for 2024, the 13th meeting of the 5th Board of Directors, and the 5th meeting of the 5th Supervisory Board were successfully held in Hangzhou. The meetings were chaired by Lou Jiangning, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company. All shareholders, directors, and supervisors of the company attended the meetings, while members of the company’s leadership team and heads of relevant departments were present as observers.

To further enhance our role in guiding, uniting, and serving young people and to strive to build a platform for young talents to exchange ideas and grow, thereby bolstering their motivation and drive, on the morning of September 14, the company’s Party Committee, in collaboration with the Youth League General Branch and the Trade Union, held a youth-themed event titled “Warm Mid-Autumn Festival, Joyfully Welcoming National Day, and Sharing Stories of Growth.” General Manager Xu Xianghui attended the event, which was chaired by Party Committee Member and Trade Union Chairman Shang Jianbing. Attendees included representatives from relevant departments of the Party Committee, the Trade Union, and the Youth League General Branch, as well as newly hired graduates of recent years, young employee representatives, and mentor-apprentice pairing representatives.

In the golden autumn month of September, good news has been coming one after another! On September 12, China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Air Separation”) and Jiangsu Andefu Storage Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiangsu Andefu”) successfully signed a contract for the construction of a new 49,000 m³ cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank and associated facilities at Jiangsu Andefu Storage Co., Ltd. The signing ceremony was held at Jiangsu Andefu’s premises, where Xu Xianghui, General Manager of China Air Separation, and Chen Wei, General Manager of Jiangsu Andefu, signed the project contract on behalf of their respective companies.
